What made you happy today?

Well today, it was the postman.  Just look what my lovely friend Brigid sent me.

Cards from Brigid in Ireland (1)

Aren’t they stunning? All made by Brigid’s artist friends in the beautiful Emerald Isle.  So many talented people making brilliant things.

Thank you my friend – these will definitely be gracing my office wall in the near future.  You couldn’t have chosen better than the hare gazing at the night sky and seahorses have always been a favourite.  The farmhouse and the dear chooks, (that’s a place I have dreamed of), and a handcrafted flower in my favourite green – for those like me  who wonder what the greeting means Adh MÓr means ‘Good Luck.’

And today I have had my share of that.

Thank you again Brigid for your lovely gift.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Barbara

  1. That’s what makes me happy, too, making cards. When I’m on my own, I can get lost in the creating and making, the cutting and gluing, it is a great way to switch off. Even better when I accompany my creating with some loud singalong music! 😄 But sometimes I just want peace and Mozart. Today is just one of those days.

    1. I know what you mean, I have my ipod set up in my craftroom and sometimes it just has to be on LOUD, other times no music is needed to get lost in the creating process. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment, I appreciate it. Happy cardmaking.

What made ME happy today was finally being able to play blog catch-up after several days of WordPress Gremlin mischief that has had me in tears of frustration!

And what made me even happier was a clear demonstration of one of the virtual friendships from all over the world that makes the blog struggles SO worth it, *despite* the Gremlin’s chronic “improvements” that regularly upset our apple carts!!

    1. Hi Madelyn, it can be frustrating sometimes, I do agree. Glad you seem to have sorted out those pesky Gremlins though. Very happy to meet you here. Who would have thought that blogging could lead to such beautiful friendships, I feel very blessed. Thank you so much for stopping by. xx
