Simple Easter Card for Dad

Hi Everyone, have you ever bought Pion paper?

This card is made using one of their 12″ x 12″ papers that is sectioned into 4 x 6″ x 6″ images.  I trimmed the 6″ x 6″ down to fit my card which is 51/2″ x 51/2″

Easter Card for Dad

I thought the image made a perfect Easter card to send to my Dad in England.  A simple bow using ribbon from Meg’s Garden and a greeting from Stampin’ UP!

I also added a few tiny diamontes to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. Thanks Mary, Pion Papers are made in Sweden. They are easily available in Australia and they only make paper, no other craft items. The papers are really gorgeous, most are double sided and they are usually sold in single 12″ x 12″ sheets, no paper pads. Look out for them or google.

  2. Such a beautiful card Barbara. Your dad will be so happy.
I received your parcel this morning. Such a joy. I love the cards but the rose garden in a matchbox is simply stunning. I will create a 52 weeks of thankfulness post around them for next week. I am still deciding what to include in your parcel….😍

  3. I’m so pleased the parcel showed up safely. Isn’t it funny, I was making the matchboxes to go into my etsy shop (still a work in progress). Then I thought would people like something like this and slowly but surely I talked myself out of making them. Perhaps it is time to revamp that idea. I shall be honoured to be featured on your thankfulness post. XX

    1. I did not get this reply at all Barbara. I did not want to post until I had your OK so I shall put it up next Friday. I think people will love the matchbox especially. They are quite special. I posted your parcel on Monday so I hope it arrives safely.xx

      1. Sorry you didn’t see my reply Brigid, I wonder sometimes about how this all works (or doesn’t as the case may be). I’m so pleased you enjoyed the garden in a box. I look forward to receiving your parcel. Hope you receive this reply today. xx
