I’ve been so enthralled with everyone’s blogs recently that I have been forgetting to post something myself.
Anyway, I have been really busy in the craftroom this week. It’s been a little cold and miserable, so with the heating cranked up, I was happy to stay at home except for a couple of quick ’round the block’ walks for some air and a break.
I want to show you some cards I made using a brand new stamp set called “Love and Affection.” It comes with matching designer series paper called “Affectionately Yours,” which features 6 designs, two with a metallic finish.
The design is not mine, but I loved the simplicity of this Pinterest find, from #Tracy Elsom.
Here are the cards I created, as you can see not a lot of stamping to do with this gorgeous paper to work with. I teamed it with Night of Navy Matting and the stripe is from a retired designer paper set, that I thought made an interesting matt. The Card Base is Crumb Cake.
The two cards, right and middle showcase the metallic finish paper which is so pretty. I also continued the theme inside my cards. Keeping it clean and simple with lots of room for a greeting.
The Photopolymer Stamp set and paper is shown below. And don’t forget that with the exception of the two metallics, all of the papers are double sided and you receive two 12″ x 12″ sheets in each pack and one sheet each of the metallics.
I have a few more cards to show you later. I hope you are all having a lovely restful and peaceful weekend wherever you are and whoever you are spending it with. Or if a madly active weekend is your idea of a good time, I hope you can find time to do that too.
My husband is spraying a small shelf unit for me today. I want to use it to display some of my cards for photographing. Hope to show you soon.
Note: All items used in the above cards are available in my online shop.
