Vintage Leaves – Stampin’ UP!

Vintage Leaves (1)

I simply love the colours of Autumn and when the Vintage Leaves  stamp set caught my eye I knew I had to have it.  No fussy cutting with this set either it comes with matching Leaflets Framelits. Definitely got to have it.

The colours used to sponge my leaves and the background piece are:

  • Crushed Curry
  • Tangerine Tango
  • Real Red
  • Old Olive
  • Soft Suede

I also used the gorgeous grunge stamp set, (this has to be the most used stamp set I own) to add some splatter dots for interest and texture before stamping the oak leaf in Soft Suede.

The leaves were then stamped in Versamark onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and heat embossed in gold embossing powder before sponging each colour with a sponge dauber.  I ran them through my Big Shot Die Cutting machine using the matching “Leaflets Framelits. A bow made of twine and a few stacked Dimensionals to pop up the leaves.

I cut five 1/4” strips of the cardstock and added them to the striped background paper from the Neutrals paper stack. Some Glossy Accents dewdrops on the leaves complete this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stamping

  1. Autumn is spectacular isn’t it? The colours are also my wearable colour recommendations, if you are into those things. I definitely think they suit me more than most.
